The SneakSnake is the ultimate ultra light snake system. Run up to 4 universes of DMX over one ultra-durable ProPlex Ethernet cable.  SneakSnake can also be used with premise wiring – Lecture halls, ballrooms, and corporate buildings. Use an Ethernet cable to get from a wall jack in one room to control DMX devices in another room. (Make sure that the circuits are patched directly to each other in the patchbay and not to any Ethernet equipment. Lengths up to 1,000 ft are possible, although a maximum length of 500 ft/150 meters is recommended. Use of an Opto-Splitter is recommended for long runs). The 4-Universe SneakSnake requires shielded Ethernet cable like ProPlex CAT5e. 2- and 3-universe versions offer fewer universes but can operate with unshielded CAT5 UTP cable.
