The Barco ScreenPRO-II HD is a professional seamless video switcher and scaler designed for live events, conferences, and multi-screen presentations. It allows operators to switch between multiple video sources smoothly while applying effects such as picture-in-picture, keying, wipes, and dissolves.

The system uses a multi-layer architecture with background layers, scaled picture-in-picture layers, and a downstream key layer to create complex visual compositions in real time. It supports a wide range of input formats including analog, DVI, and optional HD-SDI, making it flexible for mixed-format event setups. 

The ScreenPRO-II HD was widely used in corporate events, rental companies, broadcast support, and live productions before newer systems like Barco Event Master replaced it.
