Product description

The NSI DMX16 Demultiplexer is a rack‑mount interface unit designed to convert a single low‑voltage multiplex control signal (NSI’s “Micro‑Plex”) into up to 16 independent DC control outputs. It is commonly used to connect modern lighting consoles or control systems to legacy dimmer packs or devices that expect individual analog control voltages rather than multiplexed signals. The unit is programmable, supports channel selection among the possible 128 channels, and supplies regulated power to the control console. Key Features: Supports 16 independent DC output channels, each delivering 0to+10Volts DC (adjustable +4 to +12Volts) at up to 20mA. Interfaces a standard 3‑pin microphone‑type cable (carrying Micro‑Plex data) to multiple dimmer or control systems using screw‑terminal connections for flexibility. Programmable channel mapping: front‑panel DIP switches enable linking any of the 128 available Micro‑Plex channels into the 16 output channels. Provides power for the controller via +15V DC regulated output (500mA) and requires AC input: 120VAC (75Watts) or 240VAC (35Watts).
