The Lab Gruppen LMX 88 is a high-performance, versatile audio system processor designed for complex live sound and fixed installation environments. It offers extensive I/O capabilities, including 8 analog inputs and outputs, 8 AES3 digital inputs and outputs, and dual AES50 ports supporting up to 96 channels, complemented by 8 x 8 Dante/AES67 networked audio channels.

Equipped with advanced Lake processing technology, the LMX 88 supports up to eight Lake Mesa or Lake Contour modules, enabling precise speaker management and system tuning. Its 16 configurable input routers with programmable priority levels ensure seamless failover and uninterrupted audio signal flow.

The processor features dual redundant power supplies with independent locking IEC connectors, guaranteeing maximum reliability and uptime. For synchronization, it provides dual BNC word clock inputs and a variety of clock sources with a 96 kHz internal sampling rate.

Control and configuration are facilitated through a high-contrast IPS display, six dynamic buttons, and a rotary encoder, alongside network-based remote management via Dante Controller and Lake Controller software.
