The Leviton IF501 Control Interface is a compact and versatile protocol‑converter unit designed to bridge and automate lighting control systems. It enables communication between multiple control protocols such as DMX512, Microplex (MPX), Luma‑Net, MIDI, RS‑232, and 0‑10V analog. With built‑in standalone capability, it also supports auto‑sequenced chases and custom cue programming for lighting installations and theatrical environments. Key Features: Supports multiple input and output protocols – including DMX512 in/out (5‑pin XLR male/female), Microplex in/out (3‑pin XLR male/female), RS‑232 (DB9), MIDI/analog (5‑pin DIN) and Luma‑Net (RJ14). Able to convert and combine protocols – for example DMX512 to AMX192, MIDI to DMX512, 0‑10V analog to DMX512, and duplex conversion between Microplex, Luma‑Net and DMX512. Stand‑alone auto sequence control – includes 8 pre‑programmed chase effects with fade/step times from 1 to 60 seconds, and a programmable 20‑cue sequence (fade/wait times from 0.1 seconds to 50 minutes) stored in non‑volatile memory.
