The K2 loudspeaker is based on an active 3-way architecture. It comprises 4 sections: 2 LF and 1 MF at the nominal impedance of 8 ohms, and 1 HF at the nominal impedance of 16 ohms. A K2 loudspeaker has two 12'' loudspeakers and four 6.5'' drivers, all in neodymium and mounted in direct radiation in a bass-reflex enclosure. It also has two neodymium drivers with a 3'' diaphragm compression chamber coupled to DOSC® waveguides and adjustable directivity fins. The transducers are implemented in a K-configuration. For optimum mechanical and acoustic properties, the carpentry is made of premium Baltic birch plywood, combined with aluminum for the side panels.
