The DN8000 is a two input, five output digital crossover. Being a box
of DSP, it has the
potential to fulfill not only the normal tasks
thought of as applicable to a crossover, (i.e.
frequency
splitting) but many others. This allows it to replace much of, if not
all of, the
additional outboard processing that has come to be
associated with complete multi-driver
speaker system alignment
and protection.
