AD-C42T 4" 2-Way Ceiling Speaker

The AD-C42T, part of the AcousticDesign series from QSC, is a 2-way ceiling speaker that provides high-quality audio ideal for background and general purpose audio applications. Acoustically matched to the rest of the AD series, the speaker features a 4" polypropylene woofer and a 0.75" titanium dome tweeter to provide crisp, natural audio with a wide frequency response. The speaker has a 100° conical dispersion pattern to provide audio to a wide area.

The speaker has a 40W continuous power handling and 160W peak capability to deliver a strong, distortion-free performance. The speaker has a 70/100V multitap transformer, as well as an 8 ohm bypass mode to provide wide compatibility. The screw terminal input is made from a high-temperature resistant ceramic for compliance with European safety standards. The input cup also has an additional knockout for daisy-chain wiring.

The speaker's baffle and mounting tabs are made from high-impact polystyrene, while the enclosure is a heavy gauge powder-coated steel. The aluminum grille is paintable to match any decor and has an acoustically transparent white cloth backing. The speaker includes a C-ring and tile rails for easy ceiling installation.
